A new comedy show is premiering this week from SNL writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider. The Other Two follows two other millennial siblings struggling for success in New York watch as their 13-year-old brother Chase becomes famous overnight.

Starring Drew Tarver as the gay older brother Cary and Heléne Yorke as sister Brooke, Case Walker plays their younger brother Chase Dubek (aka ChaseDreams), and supported by the excellent Molly Shannon as their mother Pat. While Chase, his manager Streeter (Ken Marino) and record label exec Shuli (Wanda Sykes), and mother Pat are regular cast members, the show is very much the disastrous lives of Cary, a struggling actor (and waiter) and Brooke, a former dancer who hasn’t figured out her future.

As Chase’s star rises, his siblings are pulled into his orbit, allowing them fame and some success however fleeting and minor. That tension and unexpected fame creates the majority of the comedic moments, second only to the struggles the other two have getting dates.

With the pilot episode released last year on December 21, viewers have had a glimpse into the chaotic Brooke and deadpan Cary, but also in the love and respect Chase has for his siblings. You get a sense in one scene that Chase is proud of his actor brother, suggesting that in his mind Cary is the real star.

Drew is out (as a bisexual) and another casting, out actor Daniel K. Isaac from Billions, will be a love interest for Cary this season.
