Heartstopper teaser released by Netflix

Netflix dropped the first-look teaser for the upcoming Heartstopper LGBTQ+ adaptation of Alice Oseman’s beloved (and ongoing) webcomic series, and it’s all kinds of cute.

Filmed last summer, Heartstopper has been on our watchlist since we first heard about it. It stars Joe Locke as out gay student Charlie, and Kit Connor as rugby player Nick. The two meet in class, and start to hit it off. And of course Charlie starts having feelings for sweet Nick. The 8 episode British coming-of-age series also stars Charlie’s sister Tori (Jenny Walser) and friends Tao (William Gao), Elle (Yasmin Finney), Tara (Corinna Brown), and Darcy (Kizzy Edgell). Only Kit Connor has previously appeared in anything, with the rest of the cast newcomers!

Heartstopper premieres April 22 on Netflix.
